I’ve always loved movement. As a child, I lived for gymnastics and diving. As an adult, I tried everything – from aerobics, tae bo, and spinning, to miles and miles of running – but when I found Pilates, I realized I love movement that involves my brain as well as my body. I was hooked from my first session, and a few years later trained and earned a certification from my local studio (Wundabar) to teach on the Reformer in 2021.
The more I learned and taught, the more I realized how much more there was to know. I decided to pursue further training through Balanced Body, first focusing on Reformer, and then adding Mat and the rest of the equipment. Through incredible luck I found Spring Theory Pilates, where I was fortunate to complete my practical hours in pursuit of my Comprehensive certification which I earned in 2025.
My favorite aspect of being a Pilates instructor is seeing my clients’ growth and knowing I’ve played a role in guiding them. It’s a privilege to witness someone’s “aha moment,” when they recognize their progress or achieve an elusive goal
