Helping people move and challenge themselves has kept me working and happy teaching pilates for close to 20 years. I am honored to help hold the space clients need to get stronger and smarter in their bodies; because we all know that when we care for ourselves, we become better people out in the world!
I started teaching pilates in 2005 in San Francisco at the Ellie Herman Studio as well as Sanchez St. Studio. This last decade my family has moved from San Francisco to Encinitas, then to Mexico and back again. I am thrilled that I have been able to teach in each of those places along the way.
I thrive working with clients of all levels and abilities, from those with injuries or chronic pain to those that are just wanting to increase their fitness level. When working with rehabilitation clients, my approach takes patients with chronic pain to a mobile and strong body while working within the parameters of their injuries. With all clients I love setting goals so that we can see real markers of improvement over time.
